Help:

Can the speaker cables in photo one be connected to my laptop via the headphone socket (photo 2) so music from the laptop will play through the speakers. I assume some sort of Amp. will be needed as well.

During yesterday's quiz at the Wiganer, the teams sitting on the very outside found it difficult to hear the music round as my normal, smaller speakers aren't up to the job, but the ones from my midi stereo system are.

If you are using a house PA, the easier option would be , look for an input on the house amp and connect to there . That input like your mike should have seperate tone and volume knobs for it

The only problem you may have is the output of the laptop is too loud for the input of the amp, so you may have to set the laptop volume way down

Another option would be connect to a big screen tv and use the tv volume
