I've found that flights in general have gone up this year. Possibly the fallout from the collapse of Thomas Cook.

We live 10 minutes from Manchester Airport, but our only direct option now is Jet2 which I always find expensive.

Did Easyjet from Liverpool to Bodrum, returning on Pegasus via Istanbul home last October after our T. Cook flights went under.
Have booked Easyjet for both June and October this year.

Pegasus Manchester via Istanbul looks our best option going forward. Worth paying a little extra rather than parking at Liverpool for 2 weeks.

If Pegasus run the same as from Stansted, then look carefully because from Stansted there are usually 3 days that have a direct flight to Izmir and with transfer time in Turkey much the same from Bodrum and Izmire then not a lot in it

Found a nice cheap flight with Easyjet last night for 4th April £17.56 Bodrum to Luton and then Luton to Bodrum on the 15th April for £60.38.

But was having LOTS of trouble booking them so gave up, then tried again this morning but expecting them to have gone, but lo and behold they were still available (fortunately) then discovered it was a App called "Privacy Badger" that was blocking the booking process, so disabled that and sailed through.

Newcastle to Bodrum are ridiculously priced .We have gone with The Edinburgh flights ,they are £100 cheaper even with the Train fare from Durham. Been watching flight prices since December and they just keep going up .

RAchel /DERrick. To far North to be English and to far South to be Scottish.
