Our time with Glynn and Susan is growing short they will be off home soon but we've had another day out
we went to Gullubahce we have been here B4

Gullubahce is an old greek village built into the hillside and when I say the hill is steep its very steep I wouldn't
like to walk up and down it every day we didn't see many people there but the ones we saw were old I don't no
how they do it :o

Did you no that Father Christmas was Turkish :?: :?: oh yes he was he came from the southern coast and there
is an old church dedicated to him in Gullubahce right at the TOP of the hill !!!!!!!

its called AZIZ NIKOLAOS it was built in 1821 on the ruin of another church and off we went to find it

now at the top of the very steep hill and I mean steep !!! we could see this but we just couldn't find the way in

Image

we had to crawl under here to get in it was just a bit over grown

Great reading Di, and yes Father Christmas was turkish, he was a monk who lived in Demra on the med coast, there is a church and visiting area, its a very big tourist attraction, infact Demra is a really nice place to visit and has a beautiful long golden sandy beach.
