You can buy a Turkish dim card

The only one I know of is at the bottom of Ataturk blv on the corner by the taxi rank and phone cards can be purchased from the small shop by BIG NOSE bar.
Although a few years now since I used said shop I notice the phone is still there.
Then again whats wrong with the likes of WI-fi with messenger/ Whatsapp or even Skype from one of the many free wi-fi sites
